Mr obedience

Hey hey everyone,
It has been a funny time at our place. Mum disappeared for a few days. Miss Ellie and I looked all over for her, but she wasn't to be found. She went off to work earlier this week like normal but just never came home - until late last night. Woooo hooo she's back. We jumped all over her when she walked in the front door.
It seems mum has been over in some place called Adelaide working. Bazzy didn't like this at all, cause it was the first time mum has left me. I follow mum everywhere and she was GONE. Daddy looked after me though, but I missed my mum.
And we were supposed to be practising all my training because we had the big obedience Test today.
But guess what???

I took the test anyway, even with no practice all week, and me Super Bazzy has passed his basic obedience test.
I even get a certificate to show the whole wide world what a clever Dale I am.
Woooooo Hoooooooooooooooooooooooo

I now go up into Yellow class with all the big doggies.
There were some doggies in my red class that have been there 2 whole years. Bazzy only did 4 classes and now he is a Yellow Bazzy. Yay. Mum is sooo impressed with me.
The trainer told mum I am very focused LOL. Mum laughed cause she knows it is only because of the cheese she uses to bribe me ha ha. Bazzy is still a monster at home.

Lots of my little puppy teeth have fallen out now, we had a few days where there was heaps of blood, my favourite mousey toy (left over from my great granny Harley - it was her last birthday pressie, but now is my most favourite toy) is covered in blood stains from my bleeding gums. Mum had to wash it for me.
Airley wasn't at doggy school today so we never got to play with him. Mum took the camera just i ncase he was there so she could get some pics of us playing like mad Dale pups do.

There is no class next week because it is some Queen's birthday or something. I don't know who this Queen is, maybe she is related to Miss Ellie, mum calls her princess?
Anyway because of Queen's birthday it is a long weekend so no school. I wouldn't have been going anyway because mum has done the worst thing she could possibly do to poor Bazzy.
Bazzy is going to the vet on Friday to get "the snip"

OMG poor me. Daddy doesn't want mum to do it, but she says it is for the best. I am on daddy's side - don't do it mum Please!!!!
So I get dropped off on friday morning.......waaaaaahhhhh.

The pinkies weighed me last Monday - guess how heavy bazzy is now?
19kgs. I am a BIG Boy Bazzy.
I am not 6 months old yet (soon though - June 16th)

Bazzy is still growing like a weed mum says.

I have done lots of things for the first time now too.

Bazzy had his first pee in public. (only took 5 1/2 months)
Bazzy jumped out of the back of the car all on his own (I have watched Miss Ellie do it plenty of times)
Bazzy barked at a visitor at our front door (just like great granny Harley always did)

See I am getting to do lots of grown up Dale things now.
bazzy is a big boy - yay.

See ya :)

Bazzy (or "Yorkpark Bearach StarShine" offically lol)

Fun and games with us Dales

Woo hoooo, look at me down at the beach with my new friend Angus. The pinkies took Ellie and I to the beach this morning so we could have a run around "off Lead" yes that's right, they finally let us both go off lead to play and run and be free Dales. We went to the beach where the ADT Club hold their Beach Day, so we had a bit of a ride in the car too. When we got there we met Angus, and he decided to play with us. At first I was kept on lead, as mum didn't think she could trust me. Very sad.But daddy let Ellie off lead and then mum let me go too. Off I ran, chasing Angus and Ellie. Angus ran straight into the cold water and I followed him in and then suddenly realised "hey it's cold in there" and quickly ran out again. Angus didn't care. It is a nice safe beach, as there is a fence stopping us from running into the houses that live along the beach there, so the pinkies decided we could be trusted not to run off. Mum had cheese in her pockets too, so she called me back to her lots of times and gave me a treat of nice tasty cheese everytime I came back.
She says I need to practice my recall because we have our first Obedience Test at Dog School next week. I am doing really well at Doggy School, everyone thinks I am adorable and calm - ha ha they wouldn't say that if they saw me at home LOL.

Look at us in the car after our run on the beach. Two very tired Dales.

I like to hang over the back seat so that I can see everything that is going on.
I am a bit of a sticky beak.....

Old Miss Ellie loves the car and sometimes jumps in when the car is parked in the garage, and then she won't get out.
Pinkies have to bribe her to get out of the car. She wants to go for a ride.

Check out the nice excavation work I have been doing in my garden.Daddy has started calling me "Bazzy the Bobcat", I am not sure what that is, but apparently they dig really well.
I love digging in the garden and the pinkies have even stopped filling my holes in. I guess they have resigned themselves to the fact that the lawn is GONE now. Ellie used to dig but not anymore, she just sleeps alot. She never dug up the lawn though, she preferred to dig out the garden beds and rip out the plants. Daddy says he is glad I don't do that.
We had some visitors that stayed over for the weekend at our house and they had these funny little people with them that made lots of squawky noises and ran around. SO I chased them. Woo hoo that was fun too. I jumped all over them and grabbed their clothes in my mouth and dragged them around the garden. Ellie and I had a grand time with these strange little things called "boys". Mum had to tell them off though, cause the biggest one tried to smack me for jumping on him. I think he learnt not to be naughty cause he ran inside sooking LOL.
Ellie and I are glad we don't get too many of these little boys at our house very often. We like it just with our pinkies. The strange little boys even had some stuffies with them, but they got upset when we played with their stuffies. But it was ok for them to play with our stuffies and balls and things. Not fair ey?They've gone home now, so it's back to just us and our pinkies.Peace again.

Oh and I forgot to tell you about my new best friend Airley.
He is a DALE and he goes to my Dog School. He is a little bit older than me - he is 9 months, and his pinkies say he is naughty LOL of course he is, he's a Dale!
We got to have a great time playing after class yesterday. His pinkies live not far from us, so we are going to get together and play again. Airley is fun.I must get mum to take a photo of Airley and me playing next week at school. He just has his first Airecut too so he looks like a real Dale and not a scruffy pup like me.Hey mum do I need a Airecut yet?

Bazzy.

Stuffies, Baz's newest game, cuddles with dad

Hi everyone, Happy weekend to you.....yay we love the weekends. Lots of good things happen on weekends.

Guess what? I am going to my very first PARTY ! yippeeeeeeee
Ellie and Bazzy are going to Willow and Putter's party. We can't wait to see everyone there.
We hope there are lots of good things to eat at the party. Hmmmm nice dried liver and cheese and roast chicken with yummy gravy yummmmm, we are getting hungry just thinking about it.
Daddy and Bazzy got to spend some "quiet time" together this week. Mum was busy on the computer and Bazzy goes in to check on her regularly - just to make sure she doesn't forget about me. Daddy came in to the study too and we had a bit of a cuddle on the floor while mum worked.
Mum is studing at the moment and spends way too much time working on assignements and not enough time cuddling Bazzy, so daddy helped out.

Happy Stuffie day everyone........we have a few stuffies, but they don't let us play with any of them....not fair at all!
This is mum's WFT handbag stuffie - he has a handle on his back and a zipper. He doesn't have a name though - poor stuffie.
And this is one of many of mum's Airedale stuffie's - he came from Mc Donalds and he really doesn't look like a Dale, but he is suppossed to be one. We are yet to decide if he is or not.
Ellie and I have both managed to get him into our gobs a couple of times, but mum rescues him from us.

This is mum's favourite stuffie - he is a Kipper Airedale, but mum named him Douglas. When Bazzy was just a weeny puppy baby, mum used to put kipper in my crate with me at night time so I wouldn't get lonely. So his beard has been sucked on a little bit.
Meet Fergus, he is another Dale stuffie (see told ya there was a few of them) He is cute. I have slept with him in my crate too, but I bit his nose off, so no more sleeping with Bazzy.
Mummy fixed his nose.

Meow.........meet Cheeky Puss. That's his name. Daddy brought Cheeky Puss for mum a long time ago on holiday in Perth, Western Australia. Mum likes cats (I don't know why???) Notice there are more Airedale's in the background????
Oh and dear dear Nelson. Bazzy really really wants to play with Nelson, but mum says "No Bazzy". Nelson came from Sea World on the Gold Coast in Queensland. Daddy proposed to mum at Sea World. Mum loves polar bears and the real Nelson lives at Sea World.
Uh-oh, Bazzy got caught red handed.
Bazzy has a new game......stealing the toilet roll out of the ensuite bathroom........yay such fun to be had with it.
Mum was in the shower getting ready for work. Daddy was in the kitchen eating breakfast...so the coast was clear, no one to stop Bazzy.........woo hoo grab it and run Bazzy run.
Out into the bedroom and play time!
Old Miss Ellie just lay up on the pinkies big bed watching, but when dad came into the bedroom she looked at daddy like Miss Innocent so daddy would know it wasn't her.
Daddy called mum to look at my game. She just shook her head and said "Bazzy is a devil"
Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
I don't often get to grab the toilet roll, cause mum puts it where Bazzy can't reach, but Bazzy got lucky this week!
Bazzy School tomorrow - mum and I have been practising.
Have a nice weekend everyone.
Charlie - we hope you feel better soon matey. We know your mum is looking after you. xxx
Bazzy :)
& Miss Ellie xx

Surfer boy Baz and Baz's new bed

Hey there every doggie
Not much has been happening here with us this week. It has been pretty quiet.
Winter is not far away now and it has been quite cool, especially in the early mornings.
I don't wake up anywhere near as early as I used to.

My pinky got me a nice new bed this week......and take a close look at the packaging........the label has got an Airedale on it!

My pinky was very happy when she saw that.
It is quite a nice bed too, I rather like it, as it is very comfy indeed.

I have grown a fair bit recently. Pinky says I am not a baby anymore, I am a young Dale now.
Daddy says I am a juvenile delinquent (but I'm not sure what that means?)

I have grown so much that I can now reach the kitchen counter top......YAY
I know that ALL good things come from up there.

I used the handles on the kitchen drawers for a while to help me climb up to see what was going on up there, but now I don't need the handles anymore - I CAN REACH ALL BY MYSELF !!!!

Wooooooo Hoooooooooooooo

It is the best thing I have learnt yet.

And of course I have learnt the special skill of Airedale deafness, so when my pinky says

"get down Bazzy"

I totally don't hear her........LOL.

Pinky and I are off to Bazzy School tomorrow. Pinky took me for a nice long walk ALL BY MYSELF tonight.....wooo hoooo.

BUT it was only so she could practice walking at "heel" and getting me to behave myself nicely whilst on the lead.

Stop, sit, let's go, heel, stop, sit, blah blah blah.....can't she tell I just wanna PLAY????

I much prefer when I get to roam around all over the place sniffing than walking at heel.

And she put this awful thing called a correction collar on me...what was that about? What's wrong with my gorgeous yellow Airedale's running free collar?????

Geez ......I just wanna PLAY !!!!!

Outta here....love Bazzy.
