My Bear is home.

My Harley Bear came home to us today - we picked up her ashes.
They are in a lovely carved wooden box.
I have it on my dresser with her collar and a small lock of her fur that I have wrapped in tissue in a trinket box. So now she is finally at home, where she belongs.

I feel a sense of peace and am feeling better than I have been in days.
I think about her all the time, and often smile at memories of her doing funny things or sharing moments of affection with us.

Ellie is pining for her and is still unsettled. She will sort it all out in her own time. I am looking forward to spending time at home with her over the Christmas break, hopefully that will help her too.

We're glad to hear that your starting to feel a little better. Some special one-on-one time with Ellie sounds like a good idea for both of you.

We are glad you feel more at peace Jo. Ma says she felt the same when she got Oscar back. Having a lock of hair is lovely too.

Ellie, you are being a brave girl. Take care of Jo and Tim and you'll get lots of cuddles in return.

You are all in our thoughts and our hearts.

Toodle pip,
Harry x

Sorry about your loss, my brother Harry left quickly in June and I never met my sister Ruby.
They are both on the mantel with nice pics of each.
Mom got us to fill the huge hole in her heart and too re-ignite the HELL of the terrier spirit.
Last night Rufus ate Mom's gold necklace. She wasn't happy but she sure can make up excuses for him.
