Goodbye to our sweet girl Harley

Our beautiful girl Harley passed away on Wednesday Dec 12th, after a seizure that weakened her heart.

Tim found her at home struggling to breathe and rushed her to the local vet - Steve. I met them there about 20 minutes later - it was the worst drive ever, I was so scared I wouldn't get there in time.

Harley died in my arms about 5 minutes after I arrived. She seemed to acknowledge that I was with her, so that gives me comfort to know that she knew we were there and she wasn't on her own. Tim believes she waited for me.

Our hearts are filled with sadness, but her pain is over. She can run free with all the Airedale's that have gone before. She is reunited with her mum Iceastar.

We will never forget our gorgeous girl, she has left her paw print permanantly in our hearts.

We would like to thank everyone for their support love and prayers, it all helps us struggle through.

We would also like to thank all at Planet Airedale and The Airedale Terrier Club of Victoria, through both we have made many wonderful friends, without you we would be lost.

Sleep well our beautiful darling girl.

Dear Harley -
we will not forget you. You have left such a lovely imprint on the world and we know how much you were adored. Jo - I had sent Ellie and Harley a small something last week and I am sorry that they will arrive now that she is gone. But the rainbow I sent is for Harley as she was a rainbow in your lives and I am sure she is now up there dancing in a rainbow somewhere. Take care,
Kate

We are so sad to see that you lost Harley. It is hard to let go but comforting to know that she is no longer sick and that she is running and playing on the other side of the bridge. We will keep you in our thoughts.

Dear Jo and Tim,

I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of your beautiful Harley Bear. She had a great life with you after leaving the breeders. Ellie taught her all the things a good Airedale should do - take over the king size bed, get on the couch and spread your legs, etc. Harley crossed the rainbow bridge with a happy heart!!

I have just recently gone through that horrible drive to the vet too with one of my dales - Jaffa who had ingested 200+ tablets of ibuprofen pills. So I know the feeling... Just know.. we're all here for you, and each other.

Condolences,
Elaine & Miss Sunshade (the "other" SuperDALE) & 1 year old nephew Jaffa

My sympathies on losing Harley. Airedales make our world brighter and then they become a bright star in the sky.

Tim, Jo & Ellie!

I'm a friend of NOah & his sissies, and I am so sorry to hear about the death of your Harley Bear. She obviously knew she was one loved Airegirl, and crossed the Bridge knowing she had lived and loved well.

My hooman girl lost her 13 year old Airegirl, Rosie, in February, and less than 6 weeks later I was on the scene. She thought she'd never be able to give her heart to another dog again, but I've proven her wrong.

We hurt with you, and are praying for you and Ellie. Please stop by and let us know how you are. We'll keep checking in on you.

Goober love & smooches of comfort,
Stanley (and my girl, Lisa)
