Uh oh, Ellie what have you done?

Uh-oh, look what mum and dad found in their bedroom!
It looked like it had been snowing in there, but it was naughty old sissie.
She has a habit of playing 'shake and kill' with her bed. Mum says this is the 4th time in about 6 weeks old cranky pants Ellie has ripped her bed up.

Ellie came down to the lounge all puffing and panting, and dad wondered what is that stuff all over her back?
So he went up to the bedroom, Ellie had been asleep on the big bed for a while. And this is what he found.
Of course Ellie and I followed him and then romped around in the mess playing a good game of bitey face.
See it looks just liked snow - well except it was all different colours.
Mum wasn't very pleased because she says it is a bitch to clean up the mess.
Look at me sitting amongst Ellie's mayhem, like the good little Aireboy that I am, ha ha

The other exciting event to take place at our house is.........silly old Miss Ellie has FINALLY discovered the joys of sleeping on the couch.
Well it's about time silly old girl!
I have enjoyed the big blue couch since I was a wee puppy. There is nothing better than lounging around on the couch with my head resting on either mum or dad's lap.
And of course they just love it, and say, "oh you are such a good boy Bazzy"
Man do I lap it up - I rather like a bit of attention!

So this has become our new nightly habit - dinner, then a little nap on the big blue couch, then we start getting a bit restless because we know it is then time for our walkies.

Of course now the pinkies give old cranky pants Ellie lots of attention too. She doesn't lap it up like I do, but she is learning that it is nice to be up with the whole pack.
I even caught her resting her head on a cushion - just like I do!
Talk about making yourself comfy!
Life is good for us Airedales!

p.s: mum has been checking in on Brooke, just to make sure they are doing ok.
We are very sad for Charlie, but he is playing with Harley girl now.
Mum gave him a big kiss goodbye from all of us.

Bikkies

Hey everyone,
Guess what ????
We got a very very special delivery from the Postman,
addressed especially to US!
Not to the pinkies like most mail, but to US - me and Ellie!
How positively PAWESOME is that I ask?
See, here is the box.

Mum put the special Aire delivery on the floor so that I could check it right out and see that it was addressed to us Airedale's of the house.

Big sissie Ellie and I had a good look and a very good sniff.
Something about this special box smelt verrrrrrrrrry nice indeed!

Then mum took it off us and opened it....and look what was in there!
Bikkies, and not just any bikkies either, AIREDALE bikkies.
Whoa how brilliant do they look?
They were packaged up in nice little baggies, with Airedale lables telling us all about how good these special bikkies are. No need to tell us how good they are, we can see they are Brilliant!
And guess who made them??????
Our good Dale friends Inky and Molly's pinkie!
Woooooo hooooooo, she ROCKS.
Check out the lable, it says "Inky and Molly's Survival Pack".
Now isn't that just what every Airedale needs?
I mean what else could compare to our very own Survival Pack?
And take a look at these beautiful bikkies - they are shaped like Dales too. Almost too good to eat! (well I did say almost ha ha)
There are even special pusskie shaped bikkies, and for those of us Dales that just loooooovvvvveeee to chase pusskies, these are a real treat!
So here are the contents of one bag of bikkies....see how many there are? That will be a very special snack indeed.

So eventually after our silly pinkie finished taking photos of these wonderful bikkies, we actually got to try them and whoa are they yummy.
Fully organic and made with the most delicious ingredients Inky and Molly's pinkie could find.
Old Miss Ellie didn't even leave any crumbs for me!

Now look at that smile of true happiness on my gorgeous face (well I get told I am gorgeous so often that it just has to be true!)

So we just want to say a very special thank you to Elfie, Inky and Molly's pinkie for her wonderful efforts.
The Airedale bikkies were home baked and sold to raise funds for Airedale Rescue in Australia, with all proceeds going to the Airedale Terrier Club of Victoria.
Well done Inky, Molly and pinkies and to everyone that helped out.
We believe that hundreds of dollars $$$$$ have been raised already.
Great job!
So I can go to sleep tonight dreaming of more of these delicious treats that hopefully mum will let Ellie and I have more of tomorrow!
Cheers everyone
Love Baz.

Big day out in the Bush

Hey blogging buddies, it's sure been a while since we updated our blog. We have had a word to our mum and told her to lift her game.

We had an AWESOME day today.

Today was the Bush Picnic for the Airedale Terrier Club of Victoria. Our mum is on the committee now and so we get to go to all the events.

Today we packed up the car and headed out to Old Iron Park in St Andrews.

You might remember the really terrible bush fires that we had here way back in February, well Old Iron Park burnt to the ground and the Sorraghan family only just made it out alive with their 11 Airedales and a litter of Dale pups.

But we all headed over to their place today to see the smazing landscape of burnt out bush that is slowly starting to regenerate.

Ron and Anne are living in a converted shed while the big clean was taking place and now they can start to rebuild.

This is me - Bazzy - checking out the bush tracks on the property.

Here are some of our Dales friends trying to score a bit of sausage from the bbq lunch.

Look at this pretty little Airegirl.....awwwwww she was a sweetie!

And here is Old Miss Ellie saying hello to some of the Old Iron Dales that were in their Dale pen.

We were all running around off lead, and we were very well behaved (of course we are Airedales after all). We all said hello to each other with the traditional greeting "here let me sniff your butt!"

This is Old Iron's little Airepup - cute or what!

We took a bit of a run down the drive, it was a great game of chasey, that's my cute butt at the end there!

This is the Old Iron Airedale at the gate to the property - awesome huh?

Here are some of us, just hanging around the pinkies hoping for a bit of bbq.

I was a happy Aireboy, that's for sure.

And Old Miss Ellie too, she had the time of her life. Mum was concerned about how she would go, she had had another seizure just last month, not as bad as the one last December, but mum thought it might be too big a day for her - but she went really well.

She just trotted around at her own pace, said hello to everyone, then just wandered around checking the place out. She was pretty happy.

Notice she has her Planet Airedale bandanna on? Snazzy sissy - snazzy. I had one too (Harley's old one) but I managed to get it off before we were even out of the car!

So we were two very tired Dales by the end of the afternoon, and slept nearly the whole way home - but gee we had a blast!

Thanks to Ron and Anne for letting us run amok at their place.

Thanks to all the other Airedales that played with us and ran with us.

Thanks to all the pinkies for making it all happen!

Special Airedale Days Out rock!

See ya real soon

Calling all Victorian doggies

Hey everyone

We have a special message for all doggies that live in Victoria Australia!
The Airedale Terrier Club of Victoria is doing a fundraiser, in conjunction with Wendy Mitchell Photography to raise funds for our Dog Club.
At the upcoming Championship & Open Shows at KCC Park, Westernport Hwy, Skye on Saturday June 6th, Wendy will have a studio set up to take professional photos of your doggies.
Wendy has donated her time and 20% from her profits on the day, as well as a gift certificate for an 8 x 12" photo for the ATCV to raffle.
This is open to all doggies, not just us handsome Daleys!

So if you are going to be at the Championship Show, or you know anyone that is, and they would like to get a photo session with Wendy....you have to book!

Each session will last 15 - 20 mins, all photos will be able to be viewed on computer and a disc of photos purchased will be given to each customer that places an order.

C'mon lets all get nice piccies taken!

We will be there, as well as all those other show dales too.

If anyone is interested please contact our mum by email:
jtemeny@virginbroadband.com.au
and she will organise to book a session for you.

It's for a great cause....The Airedale Terrier Club of Victoria! YAY!

Goodo Friday and Easter Sunday - Dale style!

Hey there everyone

We have had the best Easter break with our pinkies.
On friday mum took me around to our friend Jane's house.
Jane has 2 Airedales - Mr Periwinkle and Sam (they have featured in our posts before, so you may remember them)
Anyway when mum and I got there I went into Dale overdrive, as there were lots of other Dales there too! It was positively PAWESOME!

All up there were 8 Airedales, 2 Pugs and 1 Westie.....yeah yeah I know they are not Dales, but they were still good fun! And we are not snobs ha ha.
Jane dressed Mr P up in a silly Bumble Bee outfit. He thought he looked rather cute, so did all the pinkies. Lucky for mum she doesn't put silly things like that on me!

The pinkies all sat around having afternoon tea (there were even special treats for us for legged guests as well) then we all went for a walk to the big park at the end of Jane's street.

We had a great time.
Then this morning mum and dad packed me and sissy intothe car and drove us off to the beach!

YAY YAY YAY.....Bazzy LOVES the beach!

Miss Ellie and I got to run and play and sniff washed up jelly fish, I even found a dead fish floating in the shallow water - daddy yelled "No Baz, Leave it" so I did....cause I really am a good boy!

There were lots of other doggies at the beach today too, it was lotsa fun.

Now we are both having a little afternoon siesta out on the back deck. Enjoying a sunny lazy Sunday afternoon.....while the pinkies get fat eating all those chocolate eggy things that they won't share with us.
What is all this "chocolate's not good for dogs" nonsense?
Bazzy wants some!

Hope you all had a lovely Easter everyone!

Mr B
