We are wishing all our special DWB friends a very B'Airey Christmas.
We hope everyone has a day filled with love and laughter and lots of nose pokes and butt sniffs from big black wet noses.

Sad news
Our much loved Nonno crossed the Rainbow Bridge on December 11th.
Mum was very upset and daddy had to give her lots of hugs.
Mum and Dad flew back to Melbourne to spend some time with mum's family and to attend Nonno's funeral.
We loved Nonno, and Nonno loved all animals. He is now is heaven with our Harley and his boy Alby the Rhodesian Ridgeback.
We will miss you Nonno, mummy says you loved us a lot.
Mummy loved you too, and she will miss you lots and lots.

hellooooooo
Hey everyone
Nonno is improving, his lungs are nw all better, but he still has a problem with his liver. he is at least able to walk around a little bit now using a frame. He is still in hospital and will be for a while.
Nanna is worried about him though, as we think he is suffering from dementia.
Poor Sam. We miss his giant cuddles.
Thanks to everyone that sent Aire-zen, we are sure it all helped.
We had a bit of a holiday last week.
We went to stay with a friend of mummy's that breeds Smooth Fox Terriers. her name is Shirley and she has 17 Foxies and 2 elderly Lakeland Terriers as well.
Our mum really loves Lakies, but these 2 were old and cranky and didn't want to play with us.
The pinkies went off on a driving holiday up the coast. They said that they missed us, but I think they had a good time without us....how can that be?
What could be better than having us with them on holiday?
We're all back to normal now and settled back into our routine.

Hey every doggie, it's me Baz.
We haven't done much blogging lately, it is hard to sneak onto the pc without mum helping us.
We have been having a blast, lots of long walks off lead at the park, playing with my mates Ben and Bandit - they both live in my street.
Sometimes when all the pinkies are out the front working in their garden, we all get to play out the front too.
We live at the end of a Cul-de-sac, so there are no cars to worry about, and we never run off.
So we play chasey and bitey face and do lots of running.
Sometimes the pinkies yell at us to get out of the garden beds, those little plant things get a bit trampled when we all run over the top of them, he he he.
Our Nonno (mummy's stepdad) back in Melbourne has been really ill, and has been in hospital for 7 weeks now.
We have been sending him ALL of our Aire-zen, but he needs more. So if you have some spare, can you send it to our Nonno Sam?
Our dad's Nanna has been in hospital too, she fell over and broke her hip. So we had to send lots of aire-zen to Nanna Peggy too!
So we've been pretty busy !
Here is a photo of me with nonno Sam, when we used to live in Melbourne. We always went with the pinkies to visit mum's parents. They love us.
Hope everyone is happy....just like me.

Hey, check out my brand spanking new Dale House!
Mum took us to Better Pets and gardens and let me choose it all by myself!
This is where I sleep now during the day while mum and dad are working.
Pretty comfy looking huh?
Who is the best tradies Dale in the world?
Baz, who else? Look at me sitting nicely and smiling for the camera. Notice the mess dad has made of the front garden.
They call it doing a total make-over. I call it making a huge mess!
But it is fun to help!

Bazzy's limpy leggie
Hi ya everyone
Well most of you know that when I was a young pup I had a real sore leggie.
Our friend Steve the Vet diagnosed it as Panostietis (growing pains).
They took xray thingys to confirm it and I was kept confined for weeks and weeks.
I was just growing way too fast.
Well anyway, my leggie finally stopped growing and the pain went away.
But now every time we go for a mad run off lead, my limpy comes back.
Not as bad as it was before, but limpy just the same.
Mum and dad both think it is my shoulder and not my leggie. I think they are talking about taking me to see our new lady Vet, for more xray thingys.
I don't like being Limpy.
Miss Ellie doesn't care, she still wants to play bitey face with me and wrestle!
Oh and I got a hairecut on the weekend too, so I am looking all spiffy at the moment.
Dad says I am one handsome Aireboy!
Miss Ellie missed out on a Hairecut because she was being mighty cranky on the grooming table.
So she just got brushed and had her feet trimmed.
Mum was concerned at how frail old Miss Ellie is now.
She still has lots of spark, but is fragile. She made mum swear, because she so did NOT want to be groomed, mum ended up giving in to her. he he he
Cheeky old goat she is!
Love ya's

Our new favourite park
Yippeeeeeeeee
Mum and dad took us to a new park called Jorgensen Park in Kalamunda.
And it was super awesome!
We got to run off lead and play with lots of other doggies.
They didn't take the camera this time, but mum says she definately will next time, as it is very pretty there.
We think it used to be a golf course.
We can't wait to go back there!

thunder and lightning
Gee, we didn't have a very good sleep last night.
There we were in the bedroom, all four of us, sleeping soundly when out of nowhere came this huge big BANG.
I jumped up off my bed, it was soooooo loud!
It woke mum and dad up too!
Then there were more big BANGS, and lots of flashing white lights, that lit up the whole dark bedroom!
I didn't like it - no not one bit!
Mum said it was just a thunderstorm and that it would be ok, but I was scared!
Baz was still on the bed, and not really too worried about it.
There were so many big bang noises that i jumped up onto the big bed with the others - there wasn't much room, what with mum and dad and big fat baz on the bed already.
But I made room for myself and snuggled next to my mum. She even turned the bedside lamp on for me, so that I wouldn't see the bright lightning stuff.
So I lay on the bed with mum and she rubbed my ears to keep me calm.
I don't like thunderstorms - uh-uh I don't like them.

Supervising the landscaping.
Hey everydoggy, I have been a pretty busy little BazBoy this weekend.
Dad and I have been doing some landscaping in our back garden.
It's been pretty hard work, and dad has done a good job, under my watchful supervision of course!
First of all I got to go to dad's work with him to pick up the ute.
Look at me riding up front like a proper 'tradie's' dog!

I just love riding in the car, so being in the ute was no trouble. It means I get to sit on the front seat which is way too cool!
Dad and I went to pick up these huge limestone blocks from the garden supply place. I wasn't allowed out of the ute there, as there were heaps of big tractor things driving around loading up trucks and stuff. So I just sat in the ute and waited - like a good tradie's dog would.
When we got back home dad drove the ute all the way into our back yard. Then he had to unload all the huge blocks. I wasn't allowed to help, because the blocks weighed 55kgs each!
No wonder daddy was working up a sweat!
Great view from up here.
I had to watch dad carefully while he cemented the blocks in. Had to make sure they were straight! It took hours and hours, but I stayed around the garden with dad - see, just like a good tradie's dog, ey!
Miss Ellie slept all day and missed all the action. She is a funny old girl, she wants to just sleep all the time now. So I just leave her and go off with dad and we do "boy stuff".
Tomorrow is a public holiday here, so both mum and dad will be home with us ALL day. Yippee.

Today dad got two ute loads of native mix soil, so mum and dad shovelled it all into the new garden bed.
Mum says it was bloody hard work, dad says mum is a sook.
So here is the end result of all their hard work (under my close supervision).
We now have new raised garden bed, for mum to plant stuff in.
We think dad did a great job and mum had to give Ellie the "now don't you dig this up" talk.Miss Ellie slept all day and missed all the action. She is a funny old girl, she wants to just sleep all the time now. So I just leave her and go off with dad and we do "boy stuff".

Our Easter Adventure
Hello every doggy, gee did we have the BEST Easter holiday Ever?
I think we did, it was pawesome!
We went to this place called Margaret River, it is in the south west of WA. We stayed in this groovy little dog friendly cottage called Margaret House Cottage.
Here I am sitting on the front verandah, looking all relaxed because I am on holidays....wooo hoo.
My old sissy and I ran around like lunatics when we arrived, there were so many good things to smell and the yard was enormous!
Check out old Ellie having a bit of a lie down in the front garden.

I found the best thing ever, just on the other side of the fence.
At first the funny little things in there scared me, and I ran off barking at them.
Then old Ellie came to check to see what I was making all the noise about. She wasn't scared of the funny little creatures at all - so I went and had a closer look.
This is what I had found - 'CHOOKS'. Now I had never seen these little creatures before, but I soon learned that if I bark at them, they RUN.
So then the game was on! Woof woof woof, run run run.
Every time we went out, as soon as we got back to the cottage, I ran to the chook pen to make sure my new best game was still going. Woof woof woof, run run run - awesome!
The pinkies took us everywhere with them, we explored the whole southern area of the coast.
Here we are with our daddy at Cape Leeuwin, this is where the Indian Ocean meets the Southern Ocean (which goes all the way to Antartica)
We even got to go to a Winery with the pinkies, I mean look at all those grapes, they go on forever and ever.
Take a look at us, back in the car, ready for our next adventure! C'mon, let's GO!
Take a look at us, back in the car, ready for our next adventure! C'mon, let's GO!
We drove through this HUGE forest of Karri trees. Karri trees only grow in this one place in Australia, and in the old days the loggers used to chop them all down. The trees are all protected now though. They are beautiful. Look how small me and daddy look! The trees were BIG.
We got to go on some lovely bush walks, and stopped for a few photo opportunities occasionally too!
We got to go on some lovely bush walks, and stopped for a few photo opportunities occasionally too!
This is a native Grass Tree, locally known as a Black Boy. They take years and years to grow. The pinkies have just planted some of these in our garden at home.
Don't I look handsome sitting in front of the pretty tree?
On one of our bush walks daddy let me go off lead, and we saw kangaroos. 3 of them. Daddy tried to grab my collar, but I was off and running. Lucky those Roos are fast, otherwise they were MINE!
Daddy said they would have kicked my butt, but I don't think so. After all I am the BAZBOY!
I found this little track and convinced dad we needed to go down this way for a little look.

And it led us to the Margaret River! I had to dip my furry little toes in, so that I could have a drink. Yummo, nice clean water!
The pinkies say it is stunning, but they wouldn't let me off lead, so I couldn't play in the water.
Sissy lay on the sand for a little rest, while dad and I explored a bit.

Bad boy Bazzy ate mums book!
Well will you take a look at what my silly little brother got up to today?
The picture below is all that is left of mum's book.
The stoopid little fatboy saw it on the couch and decided he wanted a closer look.
Mum was in the study, playing on our computer and she heard this strange noise from the lounge.
Mum was in the study, playing on our computer and she heard this strange noise from the lounge.
A mess was all over the couch, and silly Baz still had the book in his big fat gob.
At least he had the grace to look forlorn and sorry after mum told him what a BAD Aire-boy he was!
He had already been in trouble with daddy today too!
They went for their special "boys walkies" this morning, while mum and I went our our special "gilrs walkies".
We get walked seperately most of the time now, as I can't walk as far as I used to now that I am a Senior Aire-lady of double digits! Yes I turned 10 on my last birthday.
Anyway, when out on his walk with dad this morning, Bazzy met another dog and rather than be a nice freindly Airedale, stoopid Bazzy growled at the other doggy - for no good reason. Dad says the other doggy was wagging his tail!
Daddy told Baz off, and said "NO" Baz. Baz sulked a bit after that - he doesn't like being told off. Uh-uh.
Here is a better picture of our friend Charlie, he came to stay with us recently.
Charlie got a nice surprise today - a new baby sister. Her name is Rose and she is an 8 week old Bichon Frise, just like him. Mum has seen photos of her, but none of us have met her yet.
Oh and here are the photos of our new next door neighbour, Big Ben. He comes over to our yard to play sometimes, and sometimes we go over to his yard to play.
Big Ben is a Labrador x German Shepherd. He plays rough just like Bazzy does.
Those boys are just lunatics when they get together.
Big Ben is even bigger than Baz. They are good mates. He even plays bitey face - even though he is not an Airedale!
Till next time........xxx
Sometimes the pinkies take us there early on a weekend morning, and we run and run and run - even me!
There are always soooooo many other doggies there to play chasey with. it is just pawesome!
Look at the big smiling dufus!
Look at the big smiling dufus!
He thinks he is so handsome - just because mum tells him so. Fool!
Till next time........xxx
Miss Ellie, the Senior Aire-lady!

Blogging from the wild wild west of Australia
Hi ya bloggy friends,
Geez we have been outta action for far too long, and SOOOOOOO much has happened too!
As some of you may already know, our daddy took a job in Perth, Western Australia.
Now this is a long long way from Melbourne, which is where we live.
So the pinkies in their wisdom decided we must all move to Perth.
And off on the BIG adventure we went.
Daddy left us in October, and mum started organising to rent out our house in Melbourne and to get removalists in to pack all our stuff (geez we had a lot of stuff?)
Daddy was in Perth working and looking for a new house for us.
So there was frantic packing and selling of stuff and organising and walks with just mum.
In December dad got the keys to the new house in Perth, so a BIG container came and a couple of big strong men came along and packed all our stuff into the back.
Gee there was still alot of stuff - even after mummy sold a lot of it.
Anyway, then mummy and us went and stayed at our grand-dad's empty house. That was good, because our friends Mr Periwinkle and Sam came over for a visit and to say goodbye!
Then one morning a big JetPets van came to the house and mummy took us out into the front garden on our leads.
Then it all happened so quickly - we were put into the back of the van in crates, the door was shut and off we drove - WITHOUT MUMMY!
Ellie and I had no idea what was going on, but I was quite excited because there was a big German Shepherd doggy in another crate, so I wanted to say hello to him!
Mum was flying to Perth that day. The big truck came and took her car, then she got a cab to the airport, and we were all supposed to fly off to Perth on the same flight!
BUT THEY LEFT ME BEHIND!!!!!!!!
Ellie got loaded onto the plane, mum was on the plane, but because the plane can only carry a certain amount of weight, and the flight was full, there was no room for me. And because I was the heaviest doggy, I got picked to miss the flight.
Waaaaaahhhaaaaaaaaa - I want my MUM. And I wanna be with my sissy!!!!
They took me back to the JetPets office and they rang Dad to say only one dog made the flight.
Daddy was furious, as they couldn't even tell him which one of us got left behind.
JetPets promised to get me onto a flight with Qantas that same day.
When mum arrived at Perth airport she had no idea I wasn't there.
Daddy had to give her the bad news once she was in the terminal.
She wasn't happy!
So the pinkies went to the freight terminal to pick up the one Airedale that did get shipped, not knowing which one of us they were picking up.
And there was Ellie sitting in her crate, quite happy.
She went nuts when she saw mum and dad.
She trotted off with dad and he took her outside to pee, while mum talked to the JetPets staff to find out where I was.
And I was still in Melbourne! All on my OWN.
Don't they know I am just a baby and that I have never been on my own before - NEVER?!
So mum and dad took Ellie to our new house, and later that night daddy and grand-dad went back to the airport to pick me up.
When they walked into the freight terminal I was standing in my crate with my ears back and my tail right down between my legs and I might even have been crying - just a little bit.
Daddy said it was terrible for him to see me like that.
I wasn't a happy Aire-boy.
So then daddy drove me home to our new house - and Ellie was there, nanna and grand-dad were there and best of all - my mummy was there.
I was a bit unsure at first and wouldn't leave mummy's side.
Ellie was as happy as larry, running around sniffing every thing.
I just wanted my mum!
But now that we have been living here for 3 months, life is wonderful.
We go to the best parks and get to run off lead.
There is a doggy beach, which is just awesome and I love all the other doggies to play with.
We have a new friend who lives next door named Big Ben.
And we have another friend named Charlie who came to stay with us while his dad was in hospital. Look at us both up on the couch together!
Life sure is good here, but geez it is HOT!
We will post some more on our bloggy soon.
Hope everyone is well and happy and has a full belly!
Baz and Ellie, from the Wild Wild West.
